135g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 tbl sp brown sugar
130 ml milk
1 egg
2 tbl sp melted butter (approx 15g – 20g)

To make these pancakes wheat free I use Doves Farm gluten free plain white flour which is a rice, potato, tapioca, maize and buckwheat mixture.
Put a large pan on the hob to warm with a knob of butter. The dial on my gas hob has a scale of 1-8 and the right temperature is about 5 and a quarter.
Beat the ingredients together using a balloon whisk until it forms a smooth batter.
