100g digestive biscuits
50g butter
25g brown sugar

1 pack of dessert pastry
Filling
200g plain chocolate
100g butter
300ml single cream
175g dark brown sugar
6 eggs
Preheat the oven to gas 4.
Grease a 20cm cake tin.
Crush the digestive biscuits in a bag. Mix with the melted butter and brown sugar. Spread evenly over the base on the tin and press down with the back of a spoon.
For the filling, melt the chocolate and butter together in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water.
Beat the cream mixture into the chocolate mixture and pour into the tin.
Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes or until set. Leave in the tin to cool.
