1 medium onion
45 g breadcrumbs or ground almonds
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp sage
1 tsp paprika
Block of puff pastry
Splash of milk
Serves 6-8.
Pre-heat the oven to gas mark four.
Dice the onion and fry the until soft.
Spread the sausage meat down the centre of the pastry, leaving an inch each end. Fold the ends in.
Make diagonal slashes through the pastry to the edge. Do not cut all the way to the sausage meat.
Cook for 20 to 30 minutes turning halfway through until golden brown on the top. Transfer to a cooling rack.
